Hello everyone, I really enjoyed the time spent with family and I hope you did as well.
January is moving by and sadly our daughter and her husband have returned to their home in NSW.
Time to get back into the usual routine.
It's a colour challenge for week 49 at "Less is More"
The challenge is PREDOMINANTLY PURPLE . I made this a few days back but the night photos just made the purple look black. Lovely and sunny day today and I'm home in time to snap some daytime shots!
Here is my card.
Here is my card.
Here is a close up so that you can see that the image and sentiment really are purple.
The image is made with a Martha Stewart Punch. I discovered the technique on a YouTube video and I've pasted the link below the photo of the punch. I couldn't actually work out the makers name but she has done a great job! The video instructions are easily followed.
I made 2 of the punched pieces. One was a lighter purple to add some extra colour. I found that the second one made the centre piece more stable as well. Once I'd made the centre piece I simply cut a nestie circle ( a little larger) on the front of my card and placed the punched image inside. It looked a little underdone so I punched another circle and created a frame.
Not much stamping on this one! The sentiment is from PTI..
Thanks for looking and thanks for all the lovely comments!
This is gorgeous! I love the window you created and the sentiment is so pretty too! Thanks for including the link I'm heading over to take a look!
