Birthday wishes

I've been slow with this challenge and with leaving comments for others because we have one of our daughters and her husband staying with us  - which is lovely. It's a little more difficult to stamp when the weather is fine and there are family gatherings to enjoy!

I was showcased in the MUSIC challenge! 
How exciting- I must work out how to place the badge on my blog!
Thanks for all the lovely comments and thanks Chrissie and Mandi. 

At the moment the final challenge for 2011 at "Less is More" is:
JUST ONE WORD, a clean and simple card with a sentiment of simply one word.

 I've used PTI stamps and then heat embossed the inks and added lines for extra dimension with my score board.





This next card is the first I made with the one word sentiment. When I had finished I noticed it had 2 teal smudges !  You can see them clearly on close up! I thought I'd post it anyway just to show the different version.

    Congratulations on having the showcased music card. It was beautiful. I like both of your new cards, too. Those score lines are really striking. Its a great technique to add some interest without detracting from the main image. I've got to remember that.
