Angel

Hello everyone, just a quick blog before I head to work.
I made this card last night and the photos were rather dark.- much better this morning!
I've stamped the angel twice and once on more on stamped gingham ( distress ink).
I cut the dress from gingham and then coloured the the arms and hands and paper pieced these on the angel. I coloured the face and hair and bottom of the dress ( need more practice) and "fussy cut" the angel . The rest is fairly obvious. When I stamped the gingham for the background strip it wasn't great- but I decided it looked ok with the image and even helped the angel stand out more- so I've left it.
The wings and the greeting are glittery in real life- I used glitter pen!
The angel is taylored expressions-Whimsical Wishes,  and the greeting is GKD-Heirloom Ornament.I'm entering this card in 2 challenges:

  • "Less is More" - a bit of BLING
  • Stamp TV- Friday  challenge-"Cut it Out"

Thanks for taking a look!
