Music is the theme today and it's really got me thinking AND using more of my stamps!

I'm pleased with how this one turned out but I'll have to stop as the light has changed. I have  a good deal of bother with the light and my photos! 

I  thought that my card would look better with a border as this is not a one layer challenge. I cut it and placed it on a black card. I think it adds a little more definition.
 I hope you can see- sorry it's a bit dark again in the photo.

I have a Christmas CD playing and almost every tune is giving me ideas!

This card is themed " Santa Claus is coming to town".
 It looked a little underdone so I added the lines. They look ok in real life...but they're are bit wobbly  in the close photo! It's 1pm on Sunday so there was no wine involved.
The image is from darkroom door and I've stamped it in gold ( it has a lustre in rl) .
 I went over some of the words with a pen to highlight them and coloured the holly! I used liquid pearls- ( I love it) to make the berries pop!

Celebrate

What a great challenge ! I'm thrilled to find Runway Inspired Challenge on the web. 

My card is inspired by the yellow dress and the atmosphere of the photo ( the gloss and glitter, and the glassy  runway). I'm sure there would be a celebration after the  lady walked down the runway!
I've kept it clean and simple and paper pieced the dress and the champagne flute! You can see the sparkle of the champagne ( I added glossy accents and a little glitter).
I added the score line to note the lines on the runway.
I also thought as it is the first challenge its cause to "Celebrate"!

Christmas in Green

Hello everyone- its Sunday afternoon here and its a lovely sunny day- I should be in the garden but I'm inside making cards! I've made one card to enter in 2 Challenges!

I'm having problems with my photos and I'm sorry this is dark- I took others outside but they were no better.
I've used a die and greeting from PTI's  In The Meadow. I cut the tree and used a spotted stamp/ Versamark and clear embossed -used distress ink to emboss resist and inked the edges -added some glue and a little glitter!

Precious Cat

This cat has to be precious - he's covered in bling! Maybe a bit much really, but I have a friend who has a "precious cat" and she will love this!

I stamped and clear embossed the cat and added "bling".
The sentiment is PTI and I don't have the name of the cat stamp!
