The road ...

Hello there,
I've been missing for a few months and it's been quite some time since I've made a card for a challenge.
The last months have been busy with family life.. some good and some sad.
We are now grandparents for the first time to a lovely little girl and we've had a trip away to visit and meet her for the first time. And, as is sometimes the way ...the good is tinged with sadness as my husband lost his twin brother to cancer....sad and happy all in the space of a few weeks...!

So, I've not been in the card making groove and I need to be, because Christmas is just around the corner.  Tonight I've manged a card for the "Less is More" challenge!
This week is ONE Layer week 93 and the theme is HOUSES.
Here is my card.
The house is from Maya Road and the sentiment is from dark room door.
I've masked and sponged the hills with Distress ink.
Thanks for looking!

  1. It's good to see you back and I hope your card is reflective of your time away...good friends to surround you in the good and the bad.

  4. It's incredible how life goes sometimes, it's either all or nothing. I'm glad that you finally feel like creating again, and such a fabulous card, your layered hills have so much depth, and it's a OLC, LoVe it!
